Found transfer case actuator motor was locked up. Adjusted and freed up transfer case actuator motor, performed transfer case service and checked function of four wheel drive system. Found 4WD now operating properly. Found belt and tensioner are okay, but original. Belt is not currently cracked. Found front shocks are starting to leak. Found spark plugs were due at 120,000 miles. Found valve cover gaskets is leaking. Recommend replacing valve cover gaskets and spark plugs at the same time. Found upper radiator hose is starting to seep and radiator is original. Recommend replacing radiator and radiator hoses. Found brake fluid is dirty. Recommend brake fluid flush. Found transmission service will be due at 150,000 miles.

TRANSFER CASE FLUID – Drain & Refill – 4WD
INSPECT ALL HYDRAULIC LINE AND HOSES. INSPECT CALIPERS AND WHEEL CYLINDERS. INSPECT MASTER CYLINDER AND CAP. FLUSH ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM INCLUDING MASTER CYLINDER, CALIPERS, WHEEL CYLINDERS UNTIL CLEAN.

Recommend repairing wire harness to start. After repairing rodent damage to cylinder 4 ignition coil wire harness cleared faults and test drove the vehicle. No faults returned at this time. Found front brake pads at 10%. Found front rotors okay at this time. Recommend replacing front brake pads. Customer declined. Advised customer if the brakes go metal to metal they will need rotors as well. Customer still declined. Found rear brake pads at 30%. Found rear rotors okay at this time. Advised customer they will need rear brake pads soon.

Found front control arm bushings are torn and have excessive play. Recommend replacing front control arm and bushing assemblies as well as sway bar links.

When vehicle arrived found no faults stored. Took vehicle for test drive and check engine light turned on and vehicle began to have poor acceleration. Vehicle never stalled. Found the following DTCs: P0101 Mass Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1 P0174 System Too Lean Bank 2 Found the mass air flow sensor faulty. Recommend replacing.

Found one of the ears of the oil filter housing is broken off, and also a mesh material hanging out from the filter housing. Recommend replacing oil filter housing. Found transmission pan is leaking. Looks like oil pan has been off before, and someone used silicon. Recommend replacing with actual transmission oil pan gasket.
