    • Found check engine light on upon arrival. DTCs Stored: P2279 Intake Air System Leak – Implausible Signal P0171 Fuel Trim Bank 1 System Too Lean P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire P0507 Idle Control System RPM Higher than Expected Smoke tested engine and found that the crankcase vent valve is leaking, causing a lean mixture. Recommend replacing valve cover and spark plugs to start.
    • Found vacuum pump has a severe oil leak. Recommend replacing vacuum pump and cleaning residual oil. Found thermostat is leaking. Recommend replacing. Found inner tie rods have excessive play. Recommend replacing steering rack, outer tie rods and performing alignment. Recommend window electrical diagnosis. Found front brake pads at 20%. Found front rotors worn. Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors. Found rear brake pads at 80%.

    • Found front and rear brake pads at 90%. Unable to duplicate any brake noise. Inspected brakes and found excessive amount of brake dust. Sprayed off brakes. Found air filter due at 60,000 miles. Recommend replacing at next oil change.

    • Performed parasitic draw test on a car and there is no draw. Load tested battery twice (night and morning) and battery tested good both times. Alternator and starter are also testing good at this time. Advised customer that if vehicle sits for long periods of time to get battery tender.

    • Found front brake pads at 60%. Found front rotors with small lip on them. Found rear brake pads at 50%. Found rear rotors okay at this time. Found brake fluid dirty. Recommend brake fluid flush. Found front struts worn out, causing choppy/uneven tire wear. Recommend replacing front struts. Found rear shocks worn as well. Recommend replacing rear shocks. Found front tires worn, front left tires has a split in tread (unsafe to drive on). Recommend replacing both front tires and performing an alignment.

    • INSPECT ALL HYDRAULIC LINE AND HOSES. INSPECT CALIPERS AND WHEEL CYLINDERS. INSPECT MASTER CYLINDER AND CAP. FLUSH ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM INCLUDING MASTER CYLINDER, CALIPERS, WHEEL CYLINDERS UNTIL CLEAN.

Recommend Oil change. ****Customer Declined At This Time ****Failure to perform oil change may cause camshaft faults and cause vehicle to possibly run rough. Retrieved DTC's stored in Powertrain Control Module: P006800 MAP/MAF – Throttle Position Correlation P227900 Intake Air System Leakage P050700 Idle Control System, Speed High Than Specified P044100 EVAP Incorrect Purge Flow P030400 Cylinder 4 Misfire P030200 Cylinder 2 Misfire P030000 Multiple Cylinder Misfire P045700 EVAP Leak Detected P045600 EVAP Leak Detected P001600 Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position P001100 A Camshaft Position Timing Over Advanced Correlation P034100 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Found Oil Separator valve (PCV) leaking and causing vacuum leak. Recommend replacing to start. After replacing Oil separator valve, cleared codes and let vehicle run. The following DTC's returned during test drive: P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Inspected sparks plugs and found spark plugs worn. Spark Plug service was due at 60,000 miles. Recommend replacing spark plugs and test driving again.
    • PCV VALVE – Remove & Replace – 1.8L Eng On Top of Valve Cover

    • Found oil filter O-ring leaking oil from the top of the engine. Recommend replacing, cleaning off engine and reevaluating for any other oil leaks. After cleaning engine, let it run at operating temperature for a bit, found oil leaking from oil pan gasket. Recommend replacing
